Senior Expert Investigating Despicable Incident

Chester Williams

According to ComPol Williams, the despicable act perpetrated by the officers undermines the work of the police department, as well as the individual efforts of their colleagues in shaping the image of the department. The male victim, he says, was innocent to the situation because, like the woman, he was also under duress.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

“I have seen the video and it is perhaps one of the most disgusting things I have seen and I cannot imagine what could have possessed those persons who are behind that video to have done so.  It is already bad to force two people into sexual activity against their will.  It is five times worst to video record it and ten times worst to share it publicly.  Words cannot describe how I feel and when people think that they are outraged and we are not, I want to say to them that that is far from the truth.  The video does outrage us, after all I am sure that the public will appreciate the fact that for the most part police officers are good people and every day we have police officers out there putting their lives on the line for the safety of others.  Everyday police officers are doing heroic acts, but when we have idiots like those behind the video doing what they did, it just puts a cover, a damper on all the good work that we are doing.  I want to give the public the assurance that we are doing what we can.  I have assigned ASP Martha Rhys who is one of our experts or may I say, our most senior expert in sexual cases.  The male is an innocent agent, he was being coerced, as you said, by people with authority, officers of the law and I can say to you that from both accounts, the male and the female, they have said that there was no actual penetration but notwithstanding that, from what I have seen it could be a possible case of attempted rape and conspiracy to commit rape.”
