Marvin Manzanero

And while many of us may be tired and frustrated by all the new measures put in place, they are necessary. Doctor Marvin Manzanero says that we may have to hold out a little longer because the situation outside of our borders is worsening for some countries. He points out that predictive models in the U.S.A. show that Belize’s largest tourism market, may not improve until several more months and those projections also have a bearing on our way of life.

Dr. Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services

Thos are the closer ones to us and our reality and they are not thinking that they are going to come out of any curve until the middle of November and that is when the flu season is routinely on for them. So, they are saying – you are talking about the next eighteen months of your life changing as a result of COVID-19, so whatever measures we are taking now, that will remain with us forever.”
