Church Senator Supports G.O.B.’s Validation Bill

Ashley Rocke

Supporting the bill today was Senator for the Churches, Ashley Rocke. According to Rocke, he does not believe that a law was broken in the biblical sense. In fact, Rocke said that he would not dare to criticize Prime Minister Dean Barrow or say that PM Barrow broke the law.

Ashley Rocke, Senator for Churches

“While it may have been late it is easy for us to say that the law was broken, As a Christian reading the word of God we must always remember that the law was not made for man, or man was not made for the law but the law was made for man. And there will be times when we will have to seemingly break the law a little but come back to the point where we correct it because t is important to correct.  I see that there was no breaking of law. I don’t hear or think that there was no breaking the law. I think that Prime Minister being the man that he is and as I’ve looked at him over the years that have been here, being the man that is persistent that he is I would not dare to criticize him and say that he broke the law. I would agree with him that he did err in bringing it to the house at the time that it should have been brought. It was bad for not coming at the House at the appropriate time. But you won’t kill somebody because they forgot to do something. You will say to them” I remember you forgot but this is an important matter so please don’t forget again.  We looking at this from a difference lens Mr. President have agreed that we will support the bill.”
