?Who will be some of the special artists appearing??

Paco Smith

?There are a number of artists that will be appearing. Amongst them the Grandmaster Leroy Young, we also have the Heavenlies gospel group and Mr. Nelson Gill, Malakia Dance Group among other invited guests.?

?Why should people leave their homes to come out on Friday night or why should people who are shopping in the district take time out to listen to the concert??

Paco Smith

?Well basically it ties in with the whole ideology of Christmas. Christmas is a time for caring and sharing, family and friends. This is the City Council?s effort to reach out to the residents of Belize City and give back a little something.?

?Another event that the Belize City Council is putting on for the residents of Belize City is our carolling. This will take place on Thursday beginning at 6:00 p.m. from the Pound Yard and we?ll be going through the principal streets of Belize City on a flatbed truck throwing out goodies for the children.?

The Carolers come out at 6:00 on Thursday while concert goers are expected to be in place at 7:00 p.m.
