Patrick Faber Considering Going At it Again?

Patrick Faber

Former Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of the United Democratic Party, Patrick Faber told News Five as he left the Sir Edney Cain Building in Belmopan that he supports the Prime Minister’s statement.  Now, the Attorney General has said that anyone can vie for the leadership of the U.D.P. including Hugo Patt and Beverly Williams.  But where does Patrick Faber stand?   We are told that Faber is reviewing his options whether or not to go at it again. As for the assertion that the party is in crisis, Faber says that is a matter of opinion.

“The Prime Minister is going to make a statement and we are asking the media to respect that when that statement comes out.”

Hipolito Novelo

“Sir, that statement has your support?”

Patrick Faber

“Absolutely.”

Hipolito Novelo

“How would you describe the atmosphere of the meeting?”

Patrick Faber

“While it was a tough time for decision making tough decisions were made. I am confident that we are all united in the same and we are very convicted on our desire to move this party forward and to ensure we are fighting fit and ready for the general elections.”

Hipolito Novelo

“They say the U.D.P. is in crisis.”

Patrick Faber

“That’s an opinion, ain’t it?”
