U.D.P. Ministers, Standard Bearers Mum on John Saldivar

Anthony Martinez

As you heard John Saldivar has been suspended indefinitely from cabinet and will step down as leader elect, merely three days after he was elected.  On Sunday he had the support of the majority of his cabinet colleagues and U.D.P. standard-bearers who were very vocal then. Well, some of those Saldivar supporters today brushed off the media, remaining silent on the matter.

Anthony Martinez, U.D.P. Cabinet Minister

“The Prime Minister will be making a statement shortly, Sir and that will address the situation.”

Isani Cayetano

“What was the atmosphere inside the meeting this morning?”

Anthony Martinez

“Good and causal.”

Isani Cayetano

“It can’t be as good as casual as you are painting it to be given the tense political atmosphere surrounding the situation.”

Anthony Martinez

“Maybe it is tense by you but for me it is not tense.”

Anthony Martinez

“The Prime Minister will give a statement shortly.”

Hipolito Novelo

“Does Saldivar still have your support?”

Anthony Martinez

“Does Saldivar has my support? Did I tell you that I am supporting Saldivar? Listen to me sir, just worry that you don’t spot and put me in danger in term of try to put me in danger caused you already put me in danger.”

Hipolito Novelo

“Is this final for John Saldivar?”

Anthony Martinez

“Talk to John Saldivar.”

“What’s your position? As a senior member of the united Democratic Party.”

Anthony Martinez

“I said to you that the Prime Minister will issue a statement shortly sir.”
