Saldivar Not Worried About Kingston’s Testimony

John Saldivar

When asked if he was anxious about the testimony of Jacob Kingston whose sworn statement from the dock resumed today in the Utah courtroom, Saldivar essentially said that he was unfazed since nothing incriminating would come out as evidence against him.  He also spoke about the healing process following the divisive convention.

John Saldivar, Party Leader Elect, U.D.P.

“I look towards everyday with anxiety.”

Reporter

“Utah, Utah.”

John Saldivar

“No. Not at all, I know that there is nothing that’s gonna come from that that’s gonna affect me in any negative way.  I’ve always maintained my innocence.”

Reporter

“When do you plan to take over?”

John Saldivar

“Prime Minister has been talking about after reading the budget, but he and I will sit and discuss that.”

Reporter

“Why did you push for Dermen to become Honorary Consul…”

John Saldivar

“I will discuss nothing more about that trial… I will discuss nothing more about that.”

Isani Cayetano

“Talk to us about healing then.”

John Saldivar

“Yes, that is what we can talk about, as you saw up there, the Honorable Patrick Faber and I are friends.  We are going to continue to work together for our party.  We believe we are the best option for this country, united, unified, we can defeat any party.”

Reporter

“Sir, will you strip him of his ministries if and when you become prime minister?”

John Saldivar

“No more speculation…  He’s my very good friend, that’s not in the cards at this time.”
