Ashton Thompson Awaits Sentencing for Manslaughter Conviction

Ashton Thompson

Teshawn Williams is back behind prison where he is awaiting a sentence for the charge of manslaughter in the stabbing death of Eaton Lamb. The accused is the cousin of the deceased and will learn his fate on March twelfth, 2020.  Lamb was killed two years ago on February eighteenth, 2017 on Antelope Street, Belize City.  The Supreme Court will also sentence Ashton Thompson on April twenty-third for manslaughter in the death of Dennis Williams. Williams was killed at the Three Stars Quality Chicken, where he worked on Vernon Street, in November of 2012. Thompson and Stephan Jenkins were charged for the murder of Williams, but accepted manslaughter pleas. In the case of Jenkins, he was sentenced to seventeen years behind bars. Thompson has been incarcerated since 2012 and in mitigation plea; he expressed remorse to the Williams family and to his own family. As we said, he awaits sentencing later this year.
