Migrant Caravan Spotted from Cadenas Outpost

There is a developing story tonight on a caravan of Central American migrants heading north in search of a better life. Thousands of men, women and children left Honduras a few days ago via San Pedro Sula and have reached as far as Peten, Guatemala. A group of them have left the main caravan and they are said to be approaching the Belize border and have been spotted by military personnel at the Cadenas outpost. Relevant government ministries such as National Security, Immigration and the Human Development have come together in a task force to monitor this developing situation. The United States has been discussing migration agreements with the new government of Guatemala to accept the migrants.  More details are expected on Friday.
