A Security Guard is Mugged at his Worksite

In Belize City, security guard Denzel Halliday was also robbed of over a hundred and fifty dollars while on duty at the Belize District Education Centre on Mahogany Street Extension. Halliday reported to police that around three a.m. on December twenty-first, three men, one armed with a knife, entered the compound and held him up. They demanded the keys to the building, which he handed over. The thieves were unable to enter the building and as a result, proceeded to rob Halliday of his money. They then escaped with construction material from the compound. Luckily, Halliday was not injured in the incident. No one has been detained for this incident.
