Going Once, Going Twice, SOLD!

A large crowd gathered at the Queen Street Police Station today in Belize City. The crowd stood ready to bid on goods confiscated during criminal investigations but were never claimed. The auction started at ten o’clock and bidders had their eyes on many items including bicycles, televisions and a boat. Commanding Officer of the Prosecution branch Superintendent Carol Tucker says that monies collected are put in the police reward fund.

“We have a hundred and add bicycles. The electrical items, we have three TV and we have one boat and a motorcycle for sale. We normal do it June and December, twice per year and these items are unclaimed items and found property and we sell them for auction.”
