One person of interest in Jasmin Garcia’s murder
Police say that they are now looking for one person who may be able to assist in the murder investigation of thirty-six-year-old Jasmin Garcia. That person, according to police, is a resident of the town. Not much else is known about Garcia’s murder except that she was seen out socializing before she was found floating near the pier in Dangriga. Police say that their reports show that Garcia was last seen alive on Friday night, but today we confirmed with the family that she was seen around town on Saturday night when she went to a friend’s house. Garcia, however, didn’t get the opportunity to talk with that friend and some ten to twelve hours later she was found dead on Sunday morning. Here’s what police have to say about this killing.
ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National CIB
