Who Shot Curassow Resident, Godwin Flowers?

Alejandro Cowo

Who shot Curassow resident Godwin Flowers and why? Police are investigating an attempt made on Flowers’ life on the evening of December third, just a stone’s throw from where he lives. Around six p.m. on Tuesday, the thirty-year-old messenger was at a shop when a gunman on a bicycle rode up to him and fired a single shot, which caught Flowers. He was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he was treated and released. Superintendent Alejandro Cowo says that an investigation is ongoing to determine what led to the shooting.

Supt. Alejandro Cowo, O.C., C.I.B., Eastern Division

“He was seen with an apparent gunshot wound to the body. What we understand is that Mister Godwin was purchasing food in front of a small food stall on Curassow Street when he was approached by someone who fired a single shot at him, causing an injury to him. He was treated and discharged the following day.”

“Has a motive been established, sir?”

Supt. Alejandro Cowo

“It is something that we are still working on.”
