DPM Represents Belize at SICA’s VPs Meeting
Deputy Prime Minister Patrick Faber represented Belize at a meeting of the Vice Presidents of the Central American Integration System. The meeting, which was held in El Salvador on Monday, is part of SICA’s ongoing agenda to discuss regional matters. The leaders in attendance signed a declaration to recognize the importance of having open political discussions that allows for consensus on issues such as poverty, climate change, security, tourism, education and gender equality, among others. The DPM was accompanied by Margaret Juan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Belize in El Salvador.
