Belizean Citizen Detained in China for Funding Key Members of Hostile Forces

A businessman who possesses Belizean citizenship is currently detained in China for allegedly colluding with people in the United States to meddle in the affairs of Hong Kong. This is what the official Guangdong Communist Party newspaper reported on Saturday, identifying the Belizean as Lee Henley Hu Xiang. Xiang who lives in China is accused of funding key members of hostile forces in the U.S. to undermine China’s national security. The report also says that Xiang supported activities that led to chaos in Hong Kong. He was arrested on November twenty-sixth. This raises many questions as to how, when and by what means did Xiang obtain Belizean citizenship and how deep involved he is if the allegations are true. We’ll keep following this story.
