Man Dies a Week after RTA in the West

Joseph Myvett

A man was knocked off his motorcycle on November sixteenth and a week later he succumbs to his injuries. Police say that Adan Diaz was hospitalized ever since the road crash that happened on the Iguana Creek Road in the west. The driver of the vehicle that hit him, Pedro Bahadur, is expected to face charges. Here’s more from ACP Joseph Myvett.

ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch

“According to Mr. Bahadur he was driving his gray in color Volkswagen from south to east on the Iguana Creek Road when he observed a male person on a red motorcycle going in the same direction. As a result, he attempted to overtake the motorcycle that then also swerved to his left and he moved further left to try and avoid an accident, however, he ended up still colliding into the motorcycle which at the time was being driven at the time by one Adan Diaz, forty-five-years-old from Billy White. He was transported to the San Ignacio Community Hospital and later to the K.H.M.H. Hospital, where yesterday he succumbed to the injuries. At the time of the accident, Mr. Bahadur was served with an N.I.P., while the investigation was on going and this will now continue with the victim’s death at the K.H.M.H. yesterday.”
