NADO Becoming Fully Functional

Carlos “Charlie” Slusher

In November, sports enthusiast and former footballer Carlos ‘Charlie’ Slusher was appointed a new director of the National Anti-doping Organization, NADO, which was suspended from the Regional Anti-doping Organization following the Brandon Cattouse fiasco. Since then NADO has been getting back on track and today a two-day workshop focusing on the goals of NADO concluded. According to Slusher, the training session featured more than fifteen participants committed to advancing the work of organization.

“We simply have to be able to handle our own affairs as an anti doping organization. RADO said that. Like I said in the past, it was a one man show and just a shell. We all know about the issue that happened in the past because of that problem. So RADO said no, you got to get our house in order basically. So this entire year has been focusing and getting the anti doping organization fully function and where we can handle our own affairs from beginning to end. Today we had about sixteen people and it has been a success when you look at the level of people has attended. The organization is really appreciative of them taking time of their busy schedule to be with us.”
