Popular Belize City Bar Targeted by Armed Robbers

A business establishment was hit on Wednesday night as patrons milled inside. Police confirmed today, they are looking for three men that are persons of interest in the armed robbery at one of Belize City’s popular watering holes. Four armed men casually walked into Dream Like City Bar located on the George Price Highway and after inspecting the crowd; they pulled out their firearms and held up the owner and paying patrons. The frightful incident occurred after nine o’clock and investigators say that the men escaped with some cash, two cell phones, and personal documents.

“Last night at about night thirty four male persons entered Dream Like City Bar, held up the owner and some patrons at gunpoint. Stolen from them was a small amount of cash, two cell phones and other personal documents. So far police are looking for three male persons that we believe can assist in the investigation.”



“Have the police been given any details as to how these persons carried out this hold up?”
