Opposition Leader Reveals the Whereabouts of Joshua Perdomo

The Leader of the Opposition, John Briceño is ramping up pressure in respect of a write-off of a loan of forty-thousand plus dollars to the son of the Cabinet Secretary. The write-off was passed in the House and rejected by the Senate last week, but it is not going away. Briceño has fired off a letter, dated October fifteenth, to Prime Minister Barrow saying that the PM misled the public when he stated that the loan to Joshua Perdomo could not be collected because it was statute barred. Briceño also recalls that when the motion was tabled in the House, it recited that efforts to locate Perdomo were futile. But Briceño has found Perdomo.  He writes that the young Perdomo resides in Irving, Texas, where he is a licensed Forensic Biology Screening Analyst, license number 000806. Perdomo, discloses Briceño, is employed at the Southerwestern Institute of Forensic Science, which is located at 2355 N. Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, Texas. Other details of his home address, asserts Briceño, could easily be obtained from the cabinet secretary who is Joshua’s father. Briceño also notes that the loan was supported by Joshua’s sister, Sylvia, who is also under obligation to repay the loan. And she lives in Belize. Briceño says the write-off is obscene, should not stand and is roundly condemned by Belizeans.  The Leader of the Opposition ends by calling on the PM to reverse the decision or the P.U.P. will initiate legal action to have the write-off declared unlawful and set aside.
