The train the coaches’ exercise is to providing the basic techniques and strategies of beach soccer, which the F.F.B. will venture into, as part of its official programme come 2020. “The course focuses on the philosophy of coaching, the role of a coach and also the fundamental elements of techniques and tactics focusing on beach soccer.”

Duane Moody

“Talk to us about the importance of this. We have seen where the F.F.B. has also began the process of including beach soccer as part of its mandate.”

Philip Marin

“This is the first beach soccer course of the football federation of Belize. This course is important for us because we have been running beach soccer local course and also participating in official FIFA and CONCACAF matches without having certified coaches, certified instructors dealing with beach soccer. So with this course, the local coaches will be able to impart, share what they have learnt with their different regions and teams.”

Alexandre Soares

Alexandre Soares, FIFA Instructor, Beach Soccer

“The goals of the course is to develop beach soccer across the world and Belize is an important part because there are amazing beaches in Belize and there is big potential for the players. So the goal is to give to the guys my experience, the experience of FIFA in the sport; about the tactical technique, system of the games, types of defence. So different points.”
