Day 7 in Search for Adamir Choc

The family of missing nineteen-year-old Adamir Choc remains hopeful.  Today, they extended their search along the Belize River, seven days after the teenager was last seen alive leaving a nightclub. Four of her uncles formed part of the search party. The eldest, Marciano Choc, told us via phone that they concluded searches near and around Belmopan City. This afternoon, they began their search along the Belize River.

“Mister John from Banana Bank led us a small skiff boat, we are going up the river right now to make a search for my Niece. I don’t know how much we can do up the river, going up to Spanish Lookout, Iguana Creek. So maybe we will do this for this evening. Maybe tomorrow we will go down to Mount Pleasant, going to More Tomorrow, like that you know. I think we have a little hop right now because she is gone too long. The last thing we are doing right now. We are going up the river and try our best to locate her or her body if she is dead or what, you know.”

Choc says they continue their communication with police and this afternoon received additional information found by investigators on the surveillance footage that shows Adamir entering a black S.U.V. The family is asking the public to call the family or the nearest police station if they come across any information that can lead them to locate Adamir Choc.
