Godwin Flowers charged for Dangerous Harm upon Oliver Rodriguez

Godwin Flowers, a messenger of Curassow Street, Belize City was taken to the court this morning to be arraigned for charges of dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm in relation to a stabbing incident that left a person injured. Flowers appeared before Senior Magistrate, Aretha Ford for the offenses against Oliver Rodriguez. The senior Magistrate explained to Flowers that the matter will be dealt with at the Supreme Court.  Due to the nature of the offenses, bail was denied and Flowers was remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison until November six, 2019. Police say that on Wednesday, Rodriguez came under attack by a man on a bicycle around eleven p.m., on North Creek Road, Belize City. The assailant jumped off a bike, pulled out a knife, stabbed him and then fled the scene. Police say that after being stabbed, Rodriguez managed to make it to his brother’s house who rushed him to the K.H.M.H.
