High Ranking Officials to be involved in Sanctuary Bay Scam

Weeks ago, the Prime Minister assured to the nation that the Sanctuary Bay scam, which deprived U.S. nationals of millions of dollars, was being resolved and the government was reaching a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission of the U.S.  But today, News Five has obtained a trove of documents relating to the ongoing battle by victims of the scam to get justice. A submission was made on June tenth in a U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, which speaks to the level of involvement by ministers and high ranking officials of the government.  The document is claiming that Sanctuary Bay considered it a good marketing strategy to sell lots to U.S. nationals as part of their scam by promoting the P.M. as a person who had purchased lots in the development located in southern Belize.  The document also claims that the P.M.’s law partner, Rowell Williams, had purchased two lots and repeatedly refers to the fact that the P.M.’s law firm represented one of the entities that led to Sanctuary Bay scam.  Sanctuary Bay is also claiming that one of its managers met with four cabinet ministers of Belize, in one week, who promised to bring up a financial matter at the next Cabinet meeting.  Another sensational revelation in the court documents is that Senator Aldo Salazar is named as attorney for Atlantic International Bank Limited as well as for Sanctuary Bay and that he travelled to the U.S. where he visited the telemarketing headquarters of U.S. felon, Andris Pukke.  Pukke is called the mastermind in the entire scheme which has been described as the biggest scam in the history of the FTC.  Now, this is just a snippet of the revelations contained in the voluminous document which our attorneys are perusing at this time. We will have more on this in Wednesday’s newscast.
