Paul Jex’s Alleged Killers to Stand Trial in October

Tionne Paguada

Brothers Delson and Tionne Paguada, as well as thirty-seven-year-old Timothy Carcamo, will be tried in the October session of the Supreme Court for the January 2018 murder of Paul Jex Jr.  The trio is accused of orchestrating and carrying out the execution of the notorious street figure in the San Mateo area of San Pedro last year.  Sixteen statements from a number of witnesses, including police officers on the island town, were submitted by Inspector Egbert Castillo who is prosecuting the case.  Those documents were presented to Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser this morning, after which she explained to the men that they each have a week, as of today, to furnish the court with the names of their alibi witnesses.

This is to be done in writing.  Delson Paguada intends to call on six persons, one of whom is his common-law wife, to testify on his behalf during the trial.  His younger sibling Tionne also intends to call on two alibi witnesses.  On the evening of January 23rd, 2018, Paul Jex and his cousin Dion Neal were walking along Crocodile Street when they came under gunfire during an ambush.  Jex perished at the scene of the shooting, while his cousin was injured.
