Masked Gunman shoots Ladyville Resident

Alejandro Cowo

A gunman fired two shots a Ladyville resident on Sunday night. Luckily for Alrick Smith, he narrowly escaped with his life when he came under attack while walking along Pigeon Street. When the press spoke with police this morning, they still hadn’t conducted a full interview with Smith. So, at this time there are no clear reasons why he was fired upon. Here’s what police know so far about the incident.

“Police visited Pigeon Street in Ladyville where they spoke with thirty-four-year-old Alrick Smith who was seen with two apparent gun-shot graze to the back of the head. He told police he was walking on the same street when he was confronted by a male person wearing a mask and as a result a struggle ensued between them. The male person fired two shots at his direction causing the above mentioned injuries. He was admitted at the hospital and was discharged this morning. So far police are looking for two persons who can assist in this investigation.”
