Joseph Myvett

A family from San Roman, Stann Creek remains without a roof over their heads after the place they once called home went up in flames on Monday. Three thatch houses belonging to Juan Cucul were gutted when a fire broke inside one of the buildings that did not have electricity. The fire began shortly after eleven p.m. and spread quickly to the adjacent structures in the yard. Everything was lost in the blaze, which is suspected to be a case of arson. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Joseph Myvett, police are looking for a relative of Cucul for questioning on the incident.
