Price for Diesel Gas Decreases by ONE Cent

The government announced today that the price for diesel gasoline will decrease by one cent. Yes, you heard right—one cent. At midnight tonight, the price per gallon of diesel will decrease to ten dollars and twenty-nine cents, still above the ten dollars mark. The government, via a release, explains that the decrease reflects the “stabilization in the global availability of oil despite the recent reduction in output by some OPEC countries.” G.O.B. says that such reductions, although miniscule, have been offset by a draw-down of strategic oil reserves in the United States combined with a moderation in demand. The government is working with the fuel industry to “ensure that prices remain as low as possible.” The pump price for kerosene will also see a decrease by nine cents, falling from seven dollars and seventy-four cents to seven dollars and sixty-five cents per gallon.
