ICJ Referendum Campaign: More Confusion than Education?

Joining Tony Rath and Valentino Shal on Open Your Eyes was former Marketing Manager Trudy Joseph Swaso who has been very vocal on the topic on social media. Also an undecided voter, Swaso expressed a growing concern on the level of confusion caused by the opposing campaigns.

“None of the campaigns as far as I am concerned has allowed for me to feel like I have sufficient information even now when it is that they are going throughout the country to say have village meetings and town meetings, I still feel that it clouded with great music and drinking. How can you really get people to be listening to what they are suppose to be listening to if it is that there is a lot of distractions. I just feel like that no campaign has really drawn me. I do a lot of research on the internet, looking at information from prior, talking to people one in one because I feel like people are more honest when you are talking to them one in one. A lot of times people are saying what maybe somebody else told them to say or the people that are talking are the same people or three different people saying the exact same thing. For me conversation one in one work better than trying to decipher through all the music, the noise, children crying and just say yes and just say no.”
