6859 students sit the P.S.E amidst of flu

Story PictureIt was not necessary for health officials to postpone the Primary School exams today and when News Five checked with some students at the close of the exams, most were prepared while others said they were hoping for the postponement. But many of them were equipped with more than pencils as they had their hand sanitizers on hand.

“I studied during the week, yes ma’am.”

Marion Ali
“Which was your favorite part?”

Ana Perez
“The social studies cause it was easy.”

Marion Ali
“Ok, most of your classmates came to sit the exams?”

Ana Perez
“Yes ma’am.”

Shinique Smith
“It would have affected us because everything would have set back and my teacher told us that for summer we would have to stay at school.”

Marion Ali
“Soh you glad yoh get it over?”

“How yoh think yoh perform?”

“Well I think I did well.”

“It was kind of challenging but I went through it easily. We prepared well.”

“Yes, I have my sanitizer and my gloves and mask.”

“You’re quite prepared.”

“Aha, over prepared for this Swine Flu. ”

“You look on C.B.C. and if you’re really cautious, you’ll know to always carry hand sanitizers.”

“And you have yours on you?”

Anthony Berbey
“Yeah.”

“The exam was not easy neither hard. It was just a little bit challenging.”

“You brought your hand sanitizer with you?

“Yes ma’am (takes out sanitizer)”

“Right now if we never tek the test, right now my teacher mi wah di teach me more.”

Marion Ali
“Yoh mi wah have more time?

“Yeah, because my teacher mi have less time fi teach me.”

“How did the exam go overall?”

“Overall it was easy, only the math problem solving was a little hard.”

Some six thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine students were scheduled to sit today’s P.S.E.
