Belizean Named as 1 of U.S. ICE Most Wanted Deportable Alien
For some time, a Belizean has been named as one of the U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s most-wanted deportable aliens. He is forty-six-year-old Santos Moriera who has a number of convictions and has been deported a number of times from the U.S., but somehow managed to get back into the United States. But the long arms of the law caught up with him again and three days ago, he was taken to court in Los Angeles. Moriera was charged with illegal re-entry into the U.S. He is currently in custody in Texas and was found in Los Angeles County on November second, 2015, according to an indictment dated January twenty-fifth by a Los Angeles federal grand jury. In his latest escapade, he is charged for illegally re-entering and remaining in the U.S. His previous convictions include possession for sale of cocaine in 1991 and second degree robbery in 1992. Moriera is serving time in a Texas jail currently for a 2018 drug related offense. He is facing up to twenty years in prison. He was found to enter the U.S. illegally in 1995, 1999 and 2010.
