Scotland Halfmoon Villager Perishes in RTA

Kristian Tillett

A Scotland Halfmoon villager lost his life in a fatal RTA on the Burrell Boom Road early this morning. Twenty-seven-year-old Kristian Tillett was driving towards the village when he lost control of his Mitsubishi SUV, which flipped several times before coming to a stop. Tillett was flung from the vehicle to his death, while his wife and another woman escaped with minor injuries to their bodies. The incident occurred around two-thirty a.m. and police say that they have not been able to ascertain what caused the fatal accident.

“Police were called to the Bermudian Landing Road where upon arrival, they observed a green in colour Mitsubishi extensively damaged and not far from there, they saw the motionless body of a male person, who was identified as Kristian Myles Tillett twenty-seven years of Scotland Halfmoon Village. Initial information is that Mister Tillett was travelling from Burrell Boom towards Scotland whilst on that road; he lost control of the vehicle and overturned several times which caused him to come out of the vehicle. At the time, he was travelling with his common-law wife and another female who sustained small injuries to their bodies.”
