John Doe is Killed in a Hit & Run in San Joaquin

There were three fatal accidents within six hours across the country. The first occurred just after twelve a.m. today in the San Joaquin Village on the Philip Goldson Highway. In this RTA, the driver did not stop to render assistance. The identity of the male victim remains unknown at this time and Assistant Commissioner of Police Joseph Myvett says that the department is asking the public’s assistance to identify the victim and the driver of the vehicle.

“Sometime around 12:20 a.m. this morning, police were called out to mile seventy-eight and seventy-nine on the Philip Goldson Highway where they observed the body of a Hispanic male who appeared to be motionless with severe head and body injuries. As a result, the scene was processed; one black bicycle was found in the vicinity of where the body was with damage to the back portion of the bicycle. No vehicle was found on the scene and this male person has still not been identified by the police. In this matter we are seeking the public’s cooperation in identifying both the driver and the vehicle that was involved in this accident.”


Late this evening, police say that the victim was dressed in a light blue shirt, b lack long pants and brown slippers. He appears to be in his fifties, about five feet five inches in height, and weighs about one hundred and sixty pounds.
