‘Big Baby’ to Challenge Anthony Joshua

Belizean-American and heavyweight contender Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller is preparing to challenge unified world titleholder Anthony Joshua in June. Online reports are that discussions for matches between Joshua and other contenders fell apart and now the fight falls into the lap of Miller, who is also undefeated with twenty-three wins to his name. The paperwork is still being finalized, but Miller says he will not hold anything back.  There is a lot of buzz in Belize about the upcoming fight and the Belize Tourism Board is sponsoring ‘Big Baby’ Miller.  This afternoon, at the B.T.B.’s headquarters, Miller spoke to the Belize media via Skype.

“I am fighting in my back yard in New York and am planning on going on a three months training camp, straight to hell and torture to get me ready for this fight. Like I said before it is something that I have been training for more than half my life. It is about time that it is going to happen. I am happy that the other negotiations fell through for the other guy. It gives me the opportunity to punch him on his face. I have no problem at all fighting AJ. Like I said before, I was built for this. I am a warrior from the day I was born to now so I will be more than ready when the opportunity comes. It is just waiting for the paper work. I wasn’t born in a nice world so I won’t play nice. Plain and simple. He is what you call a role model. They mould him to look a certain way, certain look and act a certain way. I am savage. I come from the jungle. It is a different kind of mentality. He can play nice if he wants. We can have a Belikin beer after I knock him out if he wants and be friends but before that it’s animal. I will be an animal, a savage.”

The match is tentatively set for June first or June eight at Madison Square Garden in New York.
