Corozal Man Rescued from Burning House

Joseph Myvett

A man was rescued from a burning house in northern Belize. Police say the thirty-nine-year-old man was found semi-unconscious inside his house when neighbours ran to help. The wooden and zinc home was engulfed in flames around two-thirty on Thursday afternoon, but quick action saved the man’s life. ACP Joseph Myvett tells us more.

“Nolberto Ical was rescued from his residence in Libertad and in a semi-unconscious state. He has since been released from the Corozal Community Hospital the same day as he didn’t have any injuries other than seemingly he was under the influence of alcohol.”
