“It’s a dream come true. As you mentioned, Sarteneja is the first one we inaugurated yesterday. It’s a cost of nearly over eight hundred thousand dollars. The thing is that the clinic that they had before is an old one. Now the good part that we have developed through SIF; a nice facility that can now capture the entire community in a better way. The good part also about it is that it can now house a nurse and a doctor.  Sarteneja being one of the remote locations, we will try to at least send a doctor every week there at least once or twice a week. The people there are complaining that the nurses cannot just give prescriptions so what we try to do is something that will benefit the community. If you remember last year we inaugurated the Chunox Polyclinic which now has a doctor, nurse that can capture an entire community which is another milestone we have passed.”
