Road Works in Orange Walk to Improve Quality of Life

Kevin Bernard

There are a number of road works taking place in Orange Walk. It is part of the town council’s street infrastructure project for that northern municipality. As Mayor Kevin Bernard told News Five recently, there are both contract works and individual paving of streets undertaken by the council itself. The road works will improve the quality of life for residents.

Kevin Bernard, Mayor, Orange Walk Town

“These are all part of our phase of work that we will do in this term and the work will continue because there are park projects that we are going to be expanding on. We have the inauguration of our resource centre by the end of this month; we have a new compactor garbage truck from a grant funding that we are getting from the Japanese Government. All of these things are a part of our plan that we wanted to improve on the services that we are delivering to our people.”
