$30,000 Reward for Information on Missing Woman, Anisha Young
The search continues for twenty-three-year-old Anisha Young. It’s been five days since she has gone missing and search parties have been combing the Philip Goldson and the George Price Highways, looking for Young. Reports also surfaced on Thursday that her body may have been dumped off the main road leading to Lemonal Village. All searches so far have been fruitless. Today, the family tripled the reward to thirty thousand Belize dollars for anyone who could provide concrete information on the whereabouts of Anisha, dead or alive.

“Like I mentioned before and to other media houses, we are a praying family; we are keeping the faith. We are praying for the best, we are hoping for the best and that’s basically it. We are hoping for the best, but yet fearing the worst.”

“Any updates from the police as to any new details, any new information or evidence that would say what happened to her?”

“This morning, I contacted Mister Cowo and he told me that he has some information but he is presently working on it so that’s what we are waiting on; for the update from him. We are praying, we are hoping. This morning I put up a post on my Facebook and all the other pages to say that we have a reward out there for her return or any leads leading to her. Anybody, but it has to be reliable information and something really concrete that we can go to that spot and find her.”
Police have been following all leads including surveillance video which would contradict statements made by Young’s boyfriend, who is in custody.
