P.U.P. Leader Responds to the “King of Port”

John Briceño

Self proclaimed, ‘King of Port’ Anthony ‘Boots’ Martinez blames the P.U.P. for infiltrating the U.D.P.’s Port Loyola Convention and causing Michael Peyrefitte to lose. Peyrefitte, who was Martinez’s pick, was defeated by the now Standard Bearer, Philip Willoughby on Sunday.  According to Martinez, over four hundred P.U.P. supporters took part in the convention and voted for Willoughby. Today, P.U.P. Leader John Briceño responded to Martinez’s comments.

John Briceño, P.U.P Leader

“I think it speaks out very clear that it is a complete repudiation of the Barrow Administration and that obviously that the Prime Minister, for want of a better word, is a lame duck Prime Minister. Probably he needs to go before May 2019.”

“Boots Martinez has said that more than four hundred PUP supporters manage to vote and that is why Michael Peyrefitte loss.”

John Briceño

“If there four hundred supporters why did they allowed them to vote?”

“So you would say that their machinery then fell down?”

John Briceño

“Boots Martinez loves to refer to himself as a ground commander but I don’t know what he is commanding anymore because certainly he is not commanding Port Loyola.”
