Alleged Shooter Remains Under Police Guard at K.H.M.H

The man investigators believed fatally shot thirty-six-year-old Kevin Thomas remains under police guard at the K.H.M.H. Police say that as soon as he is released the charge of murder will be levied against him. Shadron Gillett is accused of fatally shooting Thomas several times on Monday night. Thomas was in front of Steven’s Shop on the Yarborough Road when the shooter approached him and released a barrage of bullets in his direction. Thomas was hit to the head and chest and died two days after. This morning A.S.P. Alejandro Cowo told the press that a motive has not been established.

“The person that was suspected to be involved in the shooting, he is still admitted at the hospital. Until he is release police will determine if any charges will be laid against him. Up to know we have not established the motive. Unfortunately, the investigators did not have an opportunity to speak to the deceased because of his condition. However, we managed to interview persons in the area where police have gotten enough information. I believe that after this person is released from the hospital we just have to follow our procedure and thereafter charges will be levied on him.”
