Zenaida Moya Says She Will Contest Upcoming General Elections
Former U.D.P. Belize City Mayor Zenaida Moya has her eyes set on central government. Moya initially had the support of Mesopotamia Area Rep Michael Finnegan, but all that changed when Shyne Barrow, Finnegan’s nephew and son of Prime Minister Dean Barrow, threw his hat in the ring. Shyne, who is also the Music Ambassador, is to be endorsed at a convention. But all that doesn’t faze Moya, because she told the media today that she will run though she shied away from disclosing division and party.
Zenaida Moya, Aspiring Politician
“That’s no lost dream. I don’t want to cloud anything, but rest assured you will see Zenaida Moya running. You will see her running; there’s no ifs or buts about it. I want to represent my country, but in particular, I do live in an area and I’ve grown up in an area and that’s where I want to represent and I will not hold back. I don’t want to cloud; but rest assured, you will see me running, don’t worry.”

“Ey, ey, ey…Duane. You guys will see it. Don’t worry you’ll be seeing a proper launch and I will ensure that all you guys are invited. But yes, I will be running and yes one day you will be seeing Zenaida representing Belize.”
