Ashley Meighan on Bail for Murder of Classmate

The number of persons accused of murder, who are applying and successfully getting bail in the Supreme Court, is on an upward trend.  One of the most recent cases involves Ashley Meighan, who was behind bars awaiting trial for the murder of her classmate Chryslin Gladden; another person, Clement Bol Junior, was also charged with Gladden’s murder. That sensational murder goes back to August 2014 when the Wesley High School student was stabbed to death at the Lord Ridge Cemetery.  The murder was allegedly triggered by jealousy and hatred. Meighan and Gladden were both minors at the time. The high school student was stabbed multiple times to her body, which was found by a man who was walking through the cemetery. The murder weapon, a ten-inch blade, was discovered not far from where Gladden’s body was.
