“In relation to the carnival event which will be held on the eight of this month, we have a number of different operations in place currently and those operations will continue throughout the day of Carnival. We also have our operational plan which caters for adequate number of personnel to be within the starting area of the carnival which will be on the Yabra – Caesar Ridge road. We also have adequate personnel that will be along the route of the carnival, as well as having additional personnel going along with the parade itself. We also have personnel and other operational activities that will be going on simultaneously. The operation will basically cover the entire City of Belize. And apart from Belize, we also have other activities taking place across the country on different dates and so we have operational plan to ensure that we well police those areas to maintain the safety and security of all persons.”
