A Woman is Latest Victim of Early Morning Home Invasion in West Landivar

Turning to crime…a twenty-four-year-old woman is the latest victim of an aggravated burglary which happened during the predawn hours of this morning.  The young lady, a legal assistant employed by a well-known P.U.P. area representative, reported to police that she awakened by a strange noise inside her apartment shortly after three o’clock.  When she got up to inquire where the sound had come from, she was met by a quartet of masked men who bound her arms and legs, before proceeding to turn over the home in search of valuables.  The four thieves were able to find a pair of firearms, jewelry and an assortment of electronic items.  They then made good their escape by stealing a vehicle belonging to the victim’s brother-in-law. At her request, the victim’s name is being withheld.
