Police Name Kevin Bodden as Suspect in Kendis Flowers Murder

A wanted poster was issued today by the Belize Police Department for twenty-five-year-old Kevin Bodden. According to police, he is the prime suspect in the murder of Ghost Town boss, Kendis Flowers, who was executed almost three weeks ago on March seventeenth at the corner of Sibun and Mahogany Streets. Initially, police had withheld the identity of their suspect because they claimed they feared for his life. But Bodden’s particulars were disclosed today as he remains on the lam. Now Flowers’ family believes that the killing of the gang leader was carried out by a member of the Gang Suppression Unit—an allegation the police has been refuting. Today, they said Bodden is their man and they need assistance to locate him.

“We do have someone wanted in connection with that murder; that is all that I can say.”

“What sorts of measures are being put in place to prevent families of Kendis Flowers to take action into their own hand with this person of interest?”

Insp. Wilfredo Ferrufino

“I believe there has been, I know that there has been some mediation done by Deputy ComPol, Mister Williams, and there are other measures put in place. I think more patrols have been put in place and of course it is being followed closely and any additional resources that need to be put in place will be done.”

Bodden is described as a resident of Lavender Street in Belize City. He is five feet six inches in height and weighs about one hundred and sixty-five pounds.
