Police Say They Know Who Killer Is – and It’s Not G.S.U.
Police have denied involvement. Senior Superintendent Howell Gillett this afternoon reiterated that the critical surveillance footage in their possession vindicates the GSU and that police had intended to show the video to the family. While he could not confirm whether that has taken place, Gillett maintained that the investigators are trying to ensure that they have an airtight case to go before the court, even though the perpetrator is still at large and from what News Five has learnt, cannot be located at this time.
Sr. Supt. Howell Gillett, Regional Commander, Eastern Division South
“I don’t want to get into the details of an investigation for the basic reason that the case has to go before a court and I don’t want to say anything that would jeopardize the case, but we as police officers—and we have very responsible people working as investigators—I am sure that we’ve complied with everything that we needed to have complied with to bring closure to that case. So having to say any specific thing about the case, I wouldn’t want to do that at this moment for the basic reason I want an airtight case that would go before the court.”

“Sir because they are claiming to us that you guys have showed us a video that does not clear the GSU any at all; they are saying that the video shows absolutely nothing. Who killed Kendis Flowers?”
Sr. Supt. Howell Gillett
“That’s not so. We’ve seen the video and it has nothing to do with any GSU. As a matter of fact, I am a hundred percent sure that the allegation against the GSU member that was being made, the person was not even in the country at the time when the incident took place.”
