“Lova Boy” Accused of Rape, Kidnap in L.A.

There is breaking news tonight that thirty-six-year-old punta rock artist Daniel Cacho, known to all as “Lova Boy”, is behind bars. The artist is being held without bail in a Los Angeles detention center. He is charged with two counts rape of a minor and two counts of kidnapping. The self-proclaimed “Prince of Belize” was arrested by Los Angeles County sheriffs on March fourteenth and made a court appearance today before being sent back to jail. He first burst onto the music scene in 2010 with a string of hits beginning with the national craze known as “Tornado” and continuing with “You Dah Wife,” “Beautiful” and “Jasmine Lowe” among others. Cacho is originally from Dangriga but has resided in L.A. since childhood. He has had a troubled past ascribed to growing up in a broken family. In 2012 he was accused of sexually molesting a female minor, thirteen years of age, dating back to when she was ten. He denied the charges and at that point was considered a person of interest whom police wanted to question.
The report is true, he’s being held with no bail! His arrest is public information on the LACSD website.

Wow… I’m Super Surpised. I worked with him for awhile then left the country to make music for several years. Tried to call him, send an email………. Damn….. I hope he’s alright. Also… Sorry for the families whom are going through the emotional stress. Everyone makes mistakes. This is sad….. No more words
