“Anyone of any age can come perform: sing, dance, recite poetry, beat box, tell jokes, whatever—it doesn’t matter if you are a professional or amateur, your talent is welcomed.”

“What is the purpose of this?”

Sarina’s Heusner

“It’s just a family outing, a platform for self-expression.”

“Is there a cost associated with this?”

Sarina’s Heusner

“No, it is free dollars and free cents for admission and participation. It all started back when I had the art gallery and coffee shop back on Princess Margaret Drive. My sister Rachael Heusner started an open mic night for poetry, but I found that the talent coming in was broader than poetry so I extended it to a talent night. And although I closed my doors, three years later at Sarina’s Café, it is back again.”

Sign up takes place at six p.m. on Sunday. Professional and amateur performers are invited to participate.
