Unitedville motorcyclist crushed by Wingle in Camalote

Another road traffic accident happened later that Saturday but this time on the George Price Highway.  Thirty-nine-year-old  Leonte Flores of Unitedville lost his life  around six o’clock in the evening when his motorcycle collided into a truck driven by Winston Gordon. According to police, the accident happened in Camalote Village. The motorcycle and truck were travelling in opposite directions when reaching mile fifty they crashed head on. Gordon’s three children who were travelling with him received minor injuries. Police say that the motor-cycle wasn’t insured and neither did it have headlights. Gordon has been served with an N.I.P. and police obtained urine samples. Here’s what police had to say.

“Upon arrival, observed a black skygo motorcycle extensively damaged in the middle of the highway and about twenty-feet away just off the right shoulder of the road was a gray wingle pickup truck with extensive damage to the left front end of the body and the windshield. The body of a man wearing a helmet was on the ground in the middle of the road just a few feet away from the pickup truck. Initial investigation reveals that the motorcyclist received visible injuries and a visible protruding bone. He was taken to the Western Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Urine sample was taken and an NIP was served on Gordon. Police investigation continues.”
