Letter Reveals Startling Allegations about Former Justice of Appeal Franz Parke

The abrupt departure of Franz Parke from the Court of Appeal still leaves many scratching their heads. But there is damning and damaging allegations that suggests that that departure may have been inevitable. News Five tonight has obtained the disclosure letter written by Courtenay Coye LLP on behalf of claimant John Briceño to the Solicitor General one week ago on November twenty-seventh, outlining multiple charges against Parke. The letter states that the firm amassed five hundred pages of information against former Justice Parke. These range from neglect of clients to issues with his various licenses and practices, as well as the aforementioned Miami-Dade County investigation. Some of the information is too salacious to repeat.

But the Government’s press release makes clear that Parke did not wish to subject himself to the scrutiny that a trial over his appointment would bring, although Attorney General Michael Peyrefitte indicated in Tuesday’s newscast that he believes a defense was possible. From the moment of Parke’s appointment, questions were raised not only about his qualifications but also about his past, including alleged criminal activity. But the critical information underpinning that challenge appears to have only recently been gathered. Notably, Cabinet Secretary Carlos Perdomo deposes that the Prime Minister was not made aware of any investigation against Parke and had no knowledge of such investigation. The letter was written to disclose the firm’s possession of the information and make clear that it would be disclosed and used in the claim should it have gone forward. With Parke’s resignation, the claim is now dead.
