Another road fatality in the South
There was another fatality on the highways. It happened at Mile thirty two on the Southern Highway near the Red Bank Junction. Thirty-four year old Paulino Pop, of San Roman Village was driving a Nissan pick-up truck heading to Independence. Five persons were in the pan of his vehicle. According to Pop, a Honda Element driven by fifty-three-year-old Wilton Morgan, of Eldridge Village, collided into the front of his vehicle. Pablo Salam, was among the passengers in Pop’s vehicle; in the impact he was thrown out of the vehicle and sustained head injuries. He perished on the spot. Paulino, who was driving the Nissan, was also injured and transported to the K.H.M.H. Morgan has been served with a Notice of Intended Prosecution.
